Reunited With My Favorite Tailor!
Plus I Eat the Best Hamburger Ever (How Have I Not Heard About It Before?)
Two weeks ago, my favorite tailor (the world’s best?) known as Tailor Caid, or as I call him Yamamoto-san, came from Tokyo and we posed with Negronis and the equally delicious suit he made for me!
If you haven’t read the piece I’ve written about my epic suit for The Atlantic, please do:

Anyhoo, the party was held at my beloved menswear store, the Armoury, which has a thriving and very social backyard where I drank my share of really fine vintage and bespoke (well, bespoke for my gullet) Italian vermouth.
It was wonderful to see so many clothing geeks show off their excellent barely structured suits!
The watches were great, too, like this slightly vintage Swatch.
Look how dapper Yamamoto-san looks. I want that summer suit he’s wearing!
And the evening had one more surprise. After we drank our campari drinks, some of the folks headed to what turned out to be my favorite new hamburger place, and, wait for it, it’s on the Upper East Side!
