I remember years ago when a baby in or around Des Moines got circumcised and over the the next several days slowly bled out enough The baby boy died. If I recall the parents were not considered at fault....not sure about the medical people.
A one half of one percent chance you could die or have other serious complications doesn't sound like much.....but do that surgery One million times a year ......(I think at least a few people die every year from complications. I've seen where a botched surgery resulted in infant sex change to baby "girl" instead of boy all because of surgery complications. )
