Crash Landing On You- complex and trashy. Almost Shakespearean with its strong groups of side characters. Itaewon Class- just watch it. Operatic. Deep and quirky. Misaeng- not sweet or romantic workplace drama. Very focused on daily (often unpleasant) texture of social relations and hierarchy in the workplace. Rookie Historian- quite entertaining historical drama. Hometown Cha Cha Cha, Romance is a Bonus Book, and Run On are all idiosyncratic soaps but fun and distracting. Jewel in the Palace (from ~2003) was the first big int’l hit. It’s >50 episodes and a totally epic life story with a big food focus set in the late 15th-early 16th century. Sometimes almost harrowing but very worth it. You need the Rakuten Viki streaming app though but IMO it’s worth it.
How are you not featuring Hometown Cha Cha Cha and Startup. Do you even watch?
Thank you so much for watching these so i don't have to! :-)
What did you think of Squid Games? I thought there was too little kissing.
Lol Attorney Woo also goes to Jeju island.
